Why we draw

Because it’s basic to humans. Some like it and are drawn to it more. That’s what I gained from this terrific article, which tells the story of the illustrator Robert Fawcett and ties it into what motivates the artist.

I think every artist that has spent time developing their work has a specific look too it, but as Fawcett points out above some stop growing because they no longer see the world around them.
