From The Technium a list of 99 pieces of advice. Those that read this blog know that I like collecting lists of advice, particularly from people older than me. I like to bookmark them and come back to them from time to time, as they’re helpful benchmarks in life. As anyone with any age under their belt knows, advice hits you differently at various stages of life.
I particularly like this advice, although I think it’s dangerous to someone who overthinks it:
You are given the gift of life in order to discover what your gift in life is. You will complete your mission when you figure out what your mission is. This is not a paradox. This is the way.
As usual, I don’t agree with all the advice, nor am I supposed to. Take what works, file what you think might be applicable in the future, and move on. More here.
